Dr. Sambath M is an experienced Professor, AI Developer, Software Trainer, and Online Tutor with over 20 years of experience in teaching and research in Machine Learning/Data Science. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai, India. Dr. Sambath holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, and he received his B.E. and M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT and Anna University, respectively. Dr. Sambath is a distinguished facilitator who has received several awards, including the Infosys Faculty Excellence Awards for the past five years, the IBM Mastermind Award, and the Favourite Teacher Award. He is also a finalist in several competitions such as the INTEL Embedded Challenge, NASA Techbrief Contest, Pearson Teaching Award, and VIT Social Innovation Challenge. Dr. Sambath has co-authored more than 10 publications at internationally well-known conferences and journals and has served on numerous program committees, including conference session chair and jury for the project contests. Dr. Sambath's current research areas include Image Processing, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Visualization, Algorithms, and Parallel Processing. He has 3 patents on his innovative ideas that are of societal importance. He is a skilled professional with expertise in AI, ML, Data Scientist, Research Scientist, and Image Processing. Dr. Sambath has worked with leading higher education institutes in Chennai, including SRM University and R.M.K. Engineering College.
